Kalakka Povathu Yaaru? is a comedy reality show that aired on Star Vijay. This show has comedians from various cities of Tamilnadu, competing against each other in a comedy battle to win the coveted title. Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru season 5, premiered on 26th July 2015 and ended on 14th August 2016. After successfully completing Season 5, the 6th season was telecast from 21stst August 2016 and ended on 23rd October 2016. Following the 6th season, the 7th season premiered from 1st October 2017 to 1st April 2018. Kalakka Povathu Yaaru Season 8 premiered from 19th January 2019 and ended on 15th June 2019.
